I was very pleased to see this information about my great grandfather.
I’m glad to see this gentleman as he is the head of the household in the address where my grandfather Frederick, was boarding as as young man, census 1921.
Sounds a very interesting family. Vanessa Wagstaff.
I am trying to make contact with this Tower warden John Fraser family, as in the 1921 census, my grandfather, Frederick Wagstaff is boarding with this Fraser family. Rather amazing find! Can the manager of this website pass on my email?
Vanessa
Hi Vanessa
I am John Fraser’s great grandson, apparently like Jon Hipwell. Interestingly, my grandfather had the same name as John’s brother – Sandy (Andrew). John Fraser wrote a very interesting book about his life called “Forty Years in Uniform” – only available now through alternative publishers.
Regards
Rob
