tubbyWilliam Tubby (229), was a Yeoman Warder from: 3rd October 1945 to 25th October 1954. He was born on the 19th September 1899. I do not have any details on when he joined the Army  However, on his discharged he was the Company Serjeant Major in the Royal Welsh Fusiliers.

He became a Yeoman Warder on the 3rd October 1945, replacing Burrell Ernest (209), and was sworn in on Tower Green on the 8th October 1945.

 

On arriving at the Tower he had the following four medals, and received the last two while a Yeoman Warder:

He moved into No. 8 The Casemate on 30th September 1952, they might have changed the house numbering as he died in 13 The Casemates 25th October 1954
