John Lund was a Yeoman Warder from 17th February 1831 (age 43), replacing James East, to his death 26 February 1861, when he was replaced by James Tuffin (43).
John was born 1797, at Blandford, Dorset. and enlisted into the 17th (Duke of Cambridge Own) Lancers, on the 18th January 1821. He was discharged , 21st April 1849 (having served 28 Years 4 months), as the Sergeant Armourer.
