John Dancer (4) was a Yeoman Warder here at the Tower from 22 February 1830, replacing Underwood, to his death May 1850 when he was replaced by John Pope (48).
John enlisted into the 95th (Derbyshire) Regiment of Foot, which was re designated as The Rifle Brigade (Prince Consorts Own).
On arrival at the Tower he had the following medals:
