James Ling (12) was a Yeoman Warder here at the Tower from 11 February 1835, replacing a Weaver, to his death 1 February 1867, when he was replaced by George Pitt (88).
James was born 1789 in Dallington, Suffolk, and enlisted into the Grenadier Guards, he had the following medals
